In the second set, Struff made a comeback and broke Alcaraz eary. He saved five break points at 3-1 to hold before levelling the match. In the third set Alcaraz dominated and took a 3-1 lead by breaking Struff. It was enough for the Spaniard as he went on to win the set and the match.
