The Asian Shooting Championships 2024 are being held in Jakarta, Indonesia, with Indian shooters doing exceedingly well. The top two shooters from each event have a chance to receive quotas for the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics. However, given India’s strong performance prior to the event, they have already filled up their eight quotas in rifle shooting.

So far, two Indians, Varun Tomar and Esha Singh, have secured their quotas for the Paris Olympics with their star-studded performances in Jakarta. Tomar and Esha both claimed gold medals in the men’s and women’s 10m air pistol events, respectively.
