Sarfaraz Khan has been a dynamic force during the current Ranji Trophy season. He was also brilliant during the previous season. Sarfaraz scored 982 runs at an average of 122.75 in the 2021–22 Ranji Trophy, including four centuries and two half-centuries. His best score was 275 runs. In the meantime, he has amassed 431 runs in the current edition with an average of 107.75, two centuries, and one half-century. After scoring a hundred against Delhi, Sarfaraz has sent another reminder to the BCCI and selectors for neglecting him from the Australia Test.
