Defending champions India managed to open the scoring inside 25 seconds at the Kalinga Stadium. Gurkirat Singh scored from the penalty spot to give the Blue Tigers an early lead but a late equaliser before the break from Rajon Howladar cancelled out their efforts. Bangladesh took the lead early in second half through Shahin but Gurkirat Singh scored a screamer to restore parity.
The match went on to Extra-time as Himanshu Jhangra opened the scoring and from then on it was all Team India who managed to score 3 goals in extra-time. Gurkirat Singh scored a worldie to round things off at the Kalinga Stadium as the Blue Tigers were named Champions.
SAFF U-20 2022 Championship Live Streaming and Live Telecast?
