Why Glenn Maxwell will not play? RCB will not be able to include him for Tuesday’s game because of the embargo from Cricket Australia.
According to Cricket Australia’s guidelines, no contracted players is allowed to play in IPL till 6th April.

Maxwell’s arrival in India was delayed because of his wedding, as the Australian cricketer entered wedlock with Indian-origin girlfriend Vini Raman on March 27.
RCB gave the newly-wed couple a lovely welcome, but Maxwell then had to stay in quarantine for three days.

He finally was out of quarantine on Monday and wasted no time in joining the training sessions ahead of a crucial tie against Rajasthan Royals. Maxwell was also seen reuniting with his former teammate Yuzvendra Chahal, who has had a great start to his stint with the Royals.

As for Maxwell’s RCB team, they started with a five-wicket defeat against Punjab Kings, but bounced back in some fashion with a three-wicket win against Kolkata Knight Riders. The addition of Maxwell will only bolster their ranks.
