The right-hander is known for slow batting but his last couple of innings has been simply brilliant. Every one is aware of his ability to score big hundreds, but it is the attacking intent, which has caught everyone by storm.
Against Warwikchsire, his 107 comprised of seven fours and two sixes. And on Sunday, Pujara was on sixth gear with his 174 including 19 fours and five sixes. With it he has created a record of highest individual score by a Sussex player in List A format history.
In fact, the batter has been in brilliant form for Sussex as the foreign player. Not only the Royal London Cup, he has proved to be a great signing for the county side in the longer format.

Are IPL teams watching? Pujara has always been one of the Indian players, who have not got a regular contract with the IPL side. As a result, when the Indian batter plies his trade in England while the other players of the world are competing in the IPL.
However, his recent centuries might prompt the IPL owners to look at Pujara as a potential player in the cash-rich league. He has displayed an array of aerial shots in recent matches to suggest that the Indian player has gradually changed his game to suit to the demands of the shorter format.
