Men’s Draw
Cameron Norrie & Reilly Opelka in first quarter
World No.12 Cameron Norrie is the top seed in the tournament. He has received a direct bye to the second round and will face the winner between Jay Clarke and Brandon Nakashima in his first round.
Fifth seed Reilly Opelka also finds hiself in the same quarter. He will face his compatriot Maxime Cressy in the opening round. Daniel Evans and Adrian Mannarino are the other players in the quarter.
Diego Schwartzman and Holger Rune headline second quarter
15th ranked Diego Schwartzman is the fourth seed in the tournament and he leads the second quarter. He will face either Jack Brooksby or Jack Draper in the first round.
Eighth seed Holger Rune is the only other seeded player in this quarter. The 19-year old Danish player will begin his campaign against wildcard entrant Ryan Peniston. Spaniards Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Pedro Martinez are the other players in this draw.
Taylor Fritz third quarter
Third seeded American Taylor Fritz will lead the third quarter of the draw. He has received a bye to the second round and will begin his campaign against either Ugo Humbert or Thago Monteiro.
Fritz’s compatriot, Frances Tiafoe is the other seeded player in the quarter. The seventh seed will face Alexander Bublik in the opening round. Another promising American youngster Sebastian Korda also finds himself in the same quarter.
Janiik Sinner and defending champion Alex de Mianur in fourth quarter
Second Seed Jannik Sinner makes his return from injury and will play in his first tournament on grass ahead of the Wimbledon. The Italian has been seeded second and he will feature directly in the second round. He will face either Francisco Cerundolo or Tommy Paul in the first round.
Sixth seed Alex de Minaur, who is the defending champion is in this quarter. He begins his campaign against Cristian Garin.
Women’s Draw
Paula Badosa leads first quarter
Top seed Paula Badosa, who had to retire from the French Open after injring her calf, returns to action aheead of the Wimbledon at the Rothesay International. She will take on the winner between Petra Martic and Juan Burrage in the second round.
Yelena Rybakina Beatriz Haddad Mia and Alison Riske are the other seeded players in the quarter. All the thre elayers have received a bye to the second round.
Karolina Pliskova & Barbora Krejcikova in second quarter
Compatriots Karolina Pliskova and Barbora Krejcikova, who are the fourth and seventh seeds respectively find themselves in the same quarter. Both the players will directly play in the second round. While Pliskova will face wildcard entrant Katie Boulter, Krejcikova will be up against Kostyuk.
Maria Sakkari leads third quarter
The third quarter of the women’s draws will be lead by Maria Sakkar. Sakkari will begin her campaign against Anhelina Kalinina or Sorano Cirstea in the second round. The quarter also has defending champion Elena Ostapenko, defending champion Maddison Keys and 16th seed Yulia Putintseva, who have all recceived byes to the second round.
Ons Jabeur leads fourth quarter
Ons Jabeur, who recently won the Berlin Open title, will now be in action at the Rothesay tournament. She is seeded second and will face Shelby Rogers in the second round.
Fifth seed Garbine Muguruza also finds herself in this quarter and she will face Madalena Frech in the second round. 12th seed Camila Giorgi and 13th seed Elise Mertens are in the same quarter and they will open their campaign in the second round.
When will the Rothesay International 2022 be played?
The tournament will begin on 20th June and the finals is scheduled to be played on 26th June, Sunday.
