On Monday, it was also asserted that Ronaldo had scheduled a physical with Al-Nassr and that the Saudi club was getting more optimistic that he would decide to sign with them. Al-Muammar, however, sought to refute the claims as rumours of a Ronaldo transfer increased, calling what has been written in Spain mainly a fabrication.
“[Reports on] Ronaldo are not right and most of what has been written and said in the [Spanish] media is a lie”, Al-Muammar said after Al-Nassr’s 2-2 draw with Al Hilal.

If Ronaldo accepts Al Nassr’s offer, he will get $75 million (£62 million) annually; but, image rights and other endorsements could significantly increase this amount to about £173 million annually. If Ronaldo accepts Al-Nassr’s offer, he will not only become Saudi Arabian football’s biggest star on the field, but he will also play a significant role off it.
If he chooses, he will apparently be granted a say in choosing the team’s manager. His chances of staying in Europe, however, seem to be dwindling, and he currently appears to be relocating to Saudi Arabia instead.
