Rhea Ripley Failed to Ambush Zelina Vega on WWE SmackDown
On Friday Night SmackDown this week, there were a limited number of matches because of the WWE Draft 2023. However, in one of those matches, Zelina Vega faced Sonya Deville. Also, Vega defeated Deville in a quick match.
Following the match, Rhea Ripley tried to ambush her WWE Backlash 2023 challenger. Ripley arrived and dropkicked Zelina. She also attacked Deville. Ripley then tried to deliver the Riptide to Vega, who countered it into a DDT. However, before Ripley could recover, Vega escaped from the ring. Thus, Ripley failed to ambush her WWE Backlash opponent.

WWE Backlash 2023 is all set to take place on May 6, 2023, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. At the pay-per-view event, Zelina Vega will face Rhea Ripley for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. Apart from this, six other matches have also been confirmed for the PPV event.
