Determined to get back to winning ways, KKR decided to tweak their opening order yet again and this time it worked in their favour. Jason Roy and Narayan Jagadeesan started well. But it was the English batter who stole the show with his power hitting as he slammed the RCB bowlers all across the ground.

Roy’s fiery innings consisted of 4 fours and 5 sixes with a strike rate of 193.10 before being dismissed at 56 from 29 deliveries. While Narayan anchored the innings he could only manage to score 27.

As for KKR, after Roy and Jagadessan’s dismissal, skipper Nitish Rana and Venkatesh Iyer have decided to take the helm. The duo have stitched a formidable partnership against RCB and are keen on giving KKR a good thrust so that the Kolkata based team can post up a big target for the hosts.
