’83 to be released in theatres on Christmas- Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh has confirmed that the much-awaited ’83 is all set to be released on Christmas (Dec 25). The movie will be released in the theatres in 5 languages. The film has been rescheduled multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic but this time it seems final as COVID-19 restrictions continue to ease across India. Ranveer Singh will play the role of Kapil Dev in the flick while real-life wife Deepika Padukone will play the role of his wife.

’83 to be released in theatres on Christmas: The sports biographical drama is directed by Kabir Singh and jointly produced by Kabir, Vishnuvardhan Induri, Deepika Padukone and Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie has been shot in England over a period of three months.
