Jos Butler Century – Most IPL Century Record: Chasing a total of 158, Buttler was on a hitting spree right from the start of his innings. He began his assault in the third over of the innings by smashing Mohammad Siraj for two consecutive fours and six. In the very next over he hit two sixes and a four off Shahbaz Ahmed as he raced to 40 runs off just 18 deliveries. He reached his fifty off just 22 deliveries, hitting at a strike rate of more than 200.
Buttler continued his rampage as RR required less than run-a-ball to reach the target. He reached his century off 59 deliveries, in the 18th over of the innings. He also closed out the chase in style by hitting a huge six to propel Rajasthan Royals into their first-ever IPL final after the inaugural edition.

- He then scored 103 off 61 deliveries against Kolkata Knight Riders.
- immediately in the very next match he scored 116 off 65 deliveries against Delhi Capitals.
- In the Qualifier 2 he scored his fourth ton to equal Kohli’s record with a match-winning 106 off 60 deliveries.
