Over the past few years, BGMI has emerged as one of the top BR titles in India. However, the ban on them has given a massive dent for sure. To resolve all these things, KRAFTON and GOI have been continuously going through dialogues to have a solution. Meanwhile, since the government of India recognized esports, KRAFTON is continuously expanding its work already recruiting 5 Indians to the team. However, as of now, there is no clarity.

Previously, there have been quite a few statements from both Krafton and the Government of India, clearing up their intentions. However, fans are yet to get a clearer picture of whether the title would arrive or not. Recently another Krafton representative, a South Korean Ambassador shares his thoughts on the ongoing situation around the title.

Since the government of India recognized esports as part of multi-sports events, gamers started to make several assumptions. There have been several claims in recent weeks throwing out dates of January for fun, which has failed to make any substances. However, with KRAFTON and its Indian base continuously taking positive steps, we can expect the title to be available sooner rather than later.
