PSL League for Juniors
- This will be the first 20-over league of its kind in which local under-19 players will integrate with foreign players to share dug-outs as part of their learning process and improve cricket skills, share knowledge and build towards their future bonding.
- As part of the concept, each foreign cricketer will be allowed to have a parent accompany them, with the cost to be picked up by the event organiser or his franchise.
- Six city-based franchise teams will participate in the 19-match competition from 1-15 October at the Gaddafi Stadium
- Participating players will be selected through a draft system.
- PCB will now invite a bidding process after Eid for telecast rights, Title sponsorship, Live-streaming, Category sponsorships & Team franchises.
The cricket board and its strategic partners have agreed to provide 100 best teenagers with monthly stipends of PKR30,000 each, scholarship at a premier educational institution, free cricket gear and equipment, and high performance coaching at the state-of-the-art National High-Performance Centre from the leading and highly-qualified international coaches.

Pakistan Junior League (PJL) OBJECTIVES
- A young apprentice can be molded into a genius with right environment, which we intend to create in this format.
- Initiatives like the PJL are all about creating opportunities for cricketers, identifying the talent, nurturing them into world-class players and closing the gap between domestic and international cricket.
- The PSL has already helped Pakistan cricket soar to new heights which was evident from Pakistan reaching the finals of the T20 World Cup last year.
