Lahore Qalandars: With 7 wins in 9 games, Lahore Qalandars are currently on the top of the points table with 14 points. But their spot isn’t secured yet. They have to win against Karachi Kings to seal the top spot as well as the Qualifier 1 spot
Multan Sultans: Second on the points table with 12 points from 10 games, their league campaign as come to an end. Now, they have to wait for the result between Islamabad and Peshawar Zalmi to get their final position on the points table. If Zalmi win, Multan will finish 2nd. But if Islamabad win, Sultans will finish third. On Saturday, Multan Sultans edged past Quetta Gladiators in a high-scoring thriller.
Islamabad United: On third spot with 12 points from 9 games, they can still seal the Top 2 spot with a win over Peshawar Zalmi on Sunday. A win with a big margin can take them to top spot if Lahore lose by big margin against Karachi Kings.
Peshawar Zalmi: With 8 points from 9 games, they have ended their hopes of sealing Top 2 spots. However, Peshawar have sealed their spot in the semifinals and will play in the eliminator even if they beat Islamabad United on Sunday.

Quetta Gladiators: Despite going close to the finish line in the record-breaking match against Multan Sultans, they fell short. They are out of the playoff race after finishing with 6 points from 10 games. However, if Karachi Kings beat table-topper Lahore Qalandars, Quetta will finish at rock bottom.
Karachi Kings: Out of playoff race, Karachi Kings will now aim to finish in 5th spot ahead of Quetta. They face table-topper Lahore Qalandars and a win will guarantee them the 5th spot. It has been a disappointing campaign with just two wins to show for.
PSL 2023 Format: The teams will play each other in a double round-robin format in the league stage. The final group stage match is scheduled for March 12, while the playoffs begin on March 15.
Since the home venues for Quetta and Peshawar are not ready to host high-profile matches, these teams will miss out on playing in front of their fans.
The Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam will lead Peshawar Zalmi this season, after his move from Multan Sultans. Other star players like Mohammad Rizwan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Alex Hales and Kieron Pollard will also make an appearance in PSL this season.
