Players from both teams came together in Paris on an emotional evening to pay respect to PSG goalkeeper Sergio Rico, who is still in urgent condition after suffering a horseback riding accident in Spain last weekend. Prior to kickoff, PSG also announced that Messi will not extend his two-season contract with the team past this season, making this his goodbye to the supporters.
Ramos headed home a long cross from Vitinha to start the scoring in what was also his final game for PSG. With his 29th goal of the year, Kylian Mbappe made it 2-0 from the penalty spot to help him win the Golden Boot.
