Pro Kabaddi PKL 8: Unstoppable Naveen Kumar’s unbroken Super 10s streak continues to extend
The 21-year old is on a roll this year scoring seven consecutive Super 10s in seven matches this season. This in turn has extended his unbeaten streak of Super 10s for a record 28 consecutive matches in the league.
The raider, who has earned a name as ‘Naveen Express’ is playing just his third season of the marquee league but he has already become a force to reckon with by breaking various records. He is the first and currently the only player to score more than 100 raid points this season and at the start of the season, he also became the fastest player to score 500 points in the history of the league by reaching the mark in just his 47th game.
Naveen’s terrific form has also served as a boost to Dabang Delhi’s performance as they are yet to lose a match this season. The team currently tops the league table with 31 points on the board, having won five games while two matches resulted in a tie. Dabang Delhi finished as runners up last season and this year the team is well on its course to win its first title with Naveen carrying the entire team on his shoulders.

As of now, Naveen has 123 raid points this year and he has been the team’s spearhead with the raids. The more time he spends on the mat, the more easier it is for Delhi to rack up the points in quick time. Delhi has however used the other raiders sparsely and sometimes it looks as if they are over-reliant of one man to give them results.
Vijay has emerged as the team’s secondary raider as he has picked up 33 raid points so far. However the team has experienced defenders like Manjeet Chillar, Joginder Narwal and Sandeep Narwal who have done a decent job to decimate the opposition raiders, picking crucial tackle points.
With Naveen Express currently unstoppable and with support from the veterans Delhi has become a team to beat this season.
