Pro Kabaddi PKL 8 Highest Raid Points: The victory came on the back of Bengaluru Bulls’ captain Pawan Sehrawat’s terrific performance as he picked up a total of 27 raid points in the match, which is the most number of points a raider has scored in a single match this season.
Pawan already holds the record of scoring the maximum raid points in a single match in PKL’s history. In the 2017 season, the raider picked up a whopping 39 points against Haryana Steelers to enter the record books. In the process he broke Pardeep Narwal’s previous record of 34 points.
Pro Kabaddi PKL 8 Highest raid points: In yesterday’s game too, Pawan was too hot to handle for Dabang Delhi. Bengaluru lost their last game against UP Yoddha and eager to get back to winning ways, the captain led from the front brilliantly.
Right from the start the Bulls showed aggression and the Delhi defenders especially had no answers to Pawan’s rampaging raids. He was just picking up points at will and within the first half itself he completed his Super 10 of the night.
In the second-half too Pawan was unstoppable as he kept on taking out Delhi’s players one after the other. His 27th point of the night came minutes before the final whistle and Bengaluru completed the formalities in the subsequent raid to get back to winning ways.
Pro Kabaddi PKL 8 Highest raid points: In his 27-point performance, Pawan also completed 800 raid points in the Pro Kabaddi League, becoming only the fourth player to achieve the feat. He also became the second raider after Naveen to register 100 raid points this season. With 122 raid points in just nine matches, Pawan is just eight points behind table-topper Naveen in the list of raiders with maximum points this year.
