Sagar – Tamil Thalaivas [21 Tackle Points]
Sagar, who made his PKL debut with the Tamil Thalaivas in the last edition, was retained ahead of the auction this year. His impressive performance this year has shown why the team has backed and retained the youngster. Along with the experienced Surjeet, Sagar has formed a formidable duo in the defence. He has so far earned 21 tackle points with 17 successful tackles and now has the most number of High 5s in the season (3).

Mohammadreza Chiyaneh – Patna Pirates [19 Tackle Points]
Iranian all-rounder Mohammadreza Chiyaneh is making his PKL debut this season and the youngster has already made a statement by emerging as the star defender for the new-look Patna Pirates. He has picked up 19 tackle points so far and his partnership with fellow defender Sunil has been effective for Patna Pirates.
Surender Nada – Haryana Steelers [19 Tackle Points]
Having missed out the entire 2019 season due to injury the experienced Surender Nada has returned back in style notching up 18 points in 6 matches so far. He, along with fellow defender Jaideep, has made Haryana Steelers a defence-heavy unit. However the team’s struggles in the raids have made them languish at the sixth position in the table.
Saurabh Nandal – Bengaluru Bulls [18 Tackle Points]
Playing his second season for Bengaluru Bulls, Saurabh Nandal has emerged as the main defender for Pawan Sehrawat’s men, who are currently topping the table. He, along with fellow defender Aman are firing in the tackles, helping Bengaluru put up an effective all-round show in all the matches.
