Raphael Varane Injury: The French defender joined Manchester United this season on a four-year deal which will keep him with the Premier League outfit until June 2025. He joined Manchester United after a trophy-laden career with LaLiga outfit Real Madrid. He is one of the most decorated players in modern football having won numerous trophies with club and country.
The French center-back has starred in just 9 games in all competitions so far this season, as his previous injury sidelined him for around three weeks.
After missing out on the 5-0 humiliation against Liverpool, Varane will not be available for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side for another derby, this time against Manchester City at Old Trafford.

Varane will be sidelined for the Manchester derby and it looks like Solskjaer will decide to shift back to his favored 4-2-3-1.
Maguire can play alongside Lindelof in a back four. However, the Swedish defender suffered a knock against Atalanta and it is not 100% certain whether he will feature in the Manchester Derby. In case, he is not available, Solskjaer will go with Bailly.
Manchester United vs Manchester City: If the Swedish center-back make it in time, United could play a back three featuring Lindelof, Maguire, and Eric Bailly, who was in the starting line-up against Atalanta and impressed on Tuesday night.
