But the biggest surprise was the absence of Jesse Lingard who failed to get a chance to feature in the game. Lingard’s brother Louie Scott bashed out Manchester United for failing to give his brother a proper send-off.

Jesse Lingard has risen through the ranks from the United academy and has gone on to play 232 games. The English midfielder made his debut in 2014 and has scored 35 goals for the club.
