Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry were the first ones who got their names on the list for the Hall of Fame. Afterward, they were joined by Eric Cantona, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, Roy Keane, Dennis Bergkamp, and David Beckham.

Patrick Vieira was a dominant force in the midfield during his Arsenal days as he played for the club for nine years. During that time, he established himself as one of the finest players to have played in the Premier League.

The Frenchman was an integral part of Gunner’s dressing room. Arsene Wenger selected him as the captain after the departure of Tony Adams in 2002. It was the season after where he led his side to one of their greatest ever seasons till now. The 2003/04 season saw Arsenal win the League title without losing a single match. This feat made them called the ‘Invincible’s’.
Patrick Vieira won the Premier League title thrice in his career and he previously lifted the trophy in1998, 2002. Meanwhile, he was also selected for the PFA Premier League Team of the Year six times in a row from 1998/99 to 2003/04. Only Steven Gerrard and Thierry Henry can match this feat.

Wayne Rooney
Wayne Rooney wasted no time in making an impact in the Premier League. He was at that time the youngest ever goalscorer in the Premier League. He scored a stunning late winner against Arsenal back in 2002 October.
Rooney had scored 15 goals for Everton in the two-season he played for the Toffees. Then showcasing his talent at the International level in the Euro’s saw him making a big-money move to Manchester United.

Rooney enjoyed the best of times of his career when he played at Old Trafford. He spent 13 long years with the Red Devils and also became their top goalscorer with 253 goals. He had won numerous trophies with the club which included five Premier League trophies.
Rooney was included in PFA Team of the Year three times. He was also named as PFA Player of the Year for the 2009/10 season. Meanwhile, he is the only player to have scored 200 goals and have 100 assists in the League. Alan Shearer is the only player in the League who has scored more goals.
