This isn’t the first time that popular Twitch streamer Pokimane decided to shower her fans with gifts of their choice, but it has almost become a tradition by now. One of her posts from December 2018 reads

Fans were quick to grab on this opportunity and posted their Amazon wishlist on her Twitter thread. Requests started to pour in from all corners varying from books, sketchbooks, markers to blankets, hoodies and many more. The streamer obliged almost all of the wishes of her fans. However, there were some very odd demands like repayment of student loan bills, which Poki couldn’t fulfil.

Pokimane is not the only streamer to celebrate Christmas by being Santa herself for her fans. Other streamers like Mizkif also followed in her footsteps to surprise his fans. He decided to help a struggling college student which in turn won the respect of his fans. He offered to buy the student two OTK monitors and also offered to pay $5000 for his studies, only on the condition that the student would continue with his education. This showed how much he cared for his fans and their well-being.

Kind and warm gestures from streamers like Pokimane really make relationships with fans strong and special. It further encourages building a community more on goodwill and less on hatred. Pokimane’s “Santa” initiative delighted her fans and proved to be a hit this year too.
