After facing online harassment from Jidion’s community, Twitch star Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys has been embroiled in one controversy after the other. Determined to address the hate, she recently took a dig at Twitch viewers for “inappropriately” editing her old clips to malign her image. Right after her 2 days of Twitch ban for violating DMCA claims, people started abusing Pokimane. This peaked after the online hate raid she faced from Jidion’s community. Moreover, troublemakers continued to abuse and troll her on various social media platforms, which she later publicly spoke of. She also had to face threats of legal actions after the involvement of the popular Fortnite star Ninja in this debate. Meanwhile, old video clips of the streamer made the rounds on the Internet, spreading rumours of her doing drugs and using racial slurs.

In a recent livestream, Pokimane elaborated on how some of her haters were extracting parts from her old video clips like moments of her sticking her tongue out or showing aggression after a bad game and joining them together to make her look “inappropriately” sexual. Pokimane slammed them and said, “You went through years of me streaming to clip together moments where I stick my tongue out, or that I’m mad that I died, and you clip them together intentionally to make me look sexual when I wasn’t even being sexual. That’s crazy”.

“You’re bending over backward to prove a sh*tty point. Like, there’s truly no saving people like that. They will also include a sexual joke, and they’re like: ‘This is you being sexual, so other people can talk about you getting d*cked down every night”, she argued.
