Pokémon GO Halloween 2022 Part II 

Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Don’t forget: Part I of the Pokémon GO Halloween 2022 Event runs from Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time!

Pokémon debuts

Vulpix wearing a Spooky Festival costume, Ninetales wearing a Spooky Festival costume, Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume, Pumpkaboo wearing a Spooky Festival costume, and Gourgeist wearing a Spooky Festival costume will also make their Pokémon GO debuts!

  • Vulpix wearing a Spooky Festival costume
  • Ninetales wearing a Spooky Festival costume
  • Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume*
  • Pumpkaboo wearing a Spooky Festival costume
  • Gourgeist wearing a Spooky Festival costume
*Gengar wearing a Spooky Festival costume will only appear in Raid Battles. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Special Research

You can assist Professor Willow and Rhi in Halloween-themed Special Research! Along the way, you’ll learn more about Yamask and Galarian Yamask. Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Galarian Yamask—if you’re lucky!

Special Research will be available to claim from Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

Eggs

The following Pokémon will hatch from 7 km Eggs. Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Noibat—if you’re lucky! Noibat hatched from these Eggs will also have a greater chance of being Shiny than Noibat found in the wild.

  • Galarian Yamask
  • Phantump
  • Golett
  • Noibat
If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild.

If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!

Avatar updates

During the event, the Spooky Pose found in the in-game shop will be updated to include movement–it will shamble forward! This update will apply to all future and past purchases of the Spooky Pose.

New Halloween-themed avatar items will also be available in the in-game shop!

Lavender Town Music

A remix of the Lavender Town music will be playing nightly during this year’s Halloween event. Turn up your in-game sound to feel like you’re taking a stroll through Lavender town! You can also listen to the music by checking out this video.
