PKL 2021: Joginder Narwal gets leadership role for Dabang Delhi: Pro Kabbadi League (PKL) franchise Dabang Delhi KC have announced Joginder Narwal to continue with the leadership role for the upcoming PKL Season 8.
Joginder has been rewarded for his impressive run as the captain for the Delhi-based franchise. He led the team to finals in the previous edition. Apart from having Joginder, Dabang Delhi has roped in big names and further strengthened the squad.The team has also started its training camp in Haryana’s Panchkula this week.

Naveen Kumar Goyat, popularly known as ‘Naveen Express’, is all set to bring a new force to the raiding unit as he boasts of the highest number of Super 10s in the previous season. Team India captain Ajay Thakur will also be there with his experience in abundance.
Apart from Naveen, the franchise has got hold of powerful raiders including Neeraj Narwal, Sushant Sail, and the Iranian Emad Sedaghat Nia. Joginder Singh will be aided by tough defenders like Jeeva Kumar, Mohammad Malik, Mohit, Sumit and Vikas. Pardeep Narwal, who has been Patna Pirates’ best card over seasons, will be seen in Delhi colors this season and will bring stability with his all-round skills.

Commenting on the new squad announcement, Krishan Kumar Hooda, chief coach, Dabang Delhi K C said, “We are thrilled to kickstart our training camp with the new looking squad with a mix of new and experienced players. Joginder Narwal, who successfully led the team to the finals in the last season, will continue to lead the team as the captain.
“Our strategy in the auctions worked out well as we bagged players like Ajay Thakur, Sandeep Narwal, Manjeet Chillar and Jeeva Kumar. Our team has been one of the most consistent teams from the last two seasons of the tournament and we are confident that with this strong new squad, we would bring the title home for our fans,” he added.
