The Professional Fighters League started off its PFL Europe season, with competitors vying for a $100,000 purse and a spot in the league’s regular season.
Dakota Ditcheva, a legend in the women’s flyweight division, is among those competing. Although the PFL does not currently have a flyweight division for women, the 125-pound weight class was included in this year’s PFL Challenger Series, and the league is considering adding the division for the 2024 season.
British light heavyweight Simeon Powell faced off against Egyptian Mohamed Amine to round out the evening. Kickboxer Amine was working two jobs and still competing for the GLORY.
The women’s strawweight co-main event featured Dakota Ditcheva and Malin Hermansson. Ditcheva competed against Hassna Gaber and Katherine Corogenes in the preliminary rounds of last year’s PFL Playoffs and PFL Championship events, and she won both. In addition to Brave CF, UAE Warriors, and Cage Warriors, Hermansson has fought once in Bellator.
