After a rapid decline in his health due to colon cancer, Pele was admitted to Albert Einstein Medical Center. Pele’s daughter Kely Nascimento took to social media to share a very emotional photo where she was seen hugging her dear father.
“We’re still here, in the fight and in faith. One more night together,” Nascimento wrote.
As per multiple reports, Pele’s health has worsened, and has stopped reacting to medical treatments. Last week Pele have been kept in Palliative care to help Pele breathe and minimize the pain. Various medical reports claim that Pele is on the way to lose his battle with cancer, however, his daughter is of the opinion that her father will make a comeback.

Pele’s daughter recently took to social media to thank the countless fans for showcasing their support in these difficult hours.
“We, as always, are grateful for all the affection you transmit to us here in Brazil and all over the world,” Nascimento said. “Your love for him, your stories and your prayers comfort us enormously, because we know we are not alone.”
