The Ligue 1 leaders roared into an unstoppable 4-0 lead during an 11-minute span in the first half, with Mbappe scoring three goals and setting up Neymar for another. After the break, Mbappe maintained his devastating performance with a pair of close-range strikes each side of Carlos Soler’s crude goal.

Initially, Pays de Cassel performed admirably, putting together several deft passing plays that elicited raucous applause in their temporary home. But in the 29th minute, Mbappe met Nuno Mendes’ cut-back and scored with a big deflection to give PSG the lead.
Neymar was then given the opportunity to make it 2-0. The Brazilian stunned the defence with his fast feet before slicing through Romain Samson’s legs with a left-footed shot. Samson was powerless to stop Mbappe from adding two decadent chips to his hat-trick before halftime.
However, the goalkeeper was responsible for Mbappe’s tap-in 10 minutes into the second half after completely missing Neymar’s ball. Just after the hour, Soler was able to backheel over the line from a few yards away thanks to some outstanding work from Neymar. 11 minutes from the end, Soler played a part once more as Mbappe finished the scoring with another poacher’s shot from the Spaniard’s cross.
