On Monday, Babar Azam rolled his arms for an over against Australia in the 1st Test in Rawalpindi after the umpires decided that the light was not adequate for pacers to bowl. Babar Azam decided to go with his off-spin to see off Day 4.

The 27-year-old did not have a good start as he conceded five runs in his first couple of deliveries. However, he finished off strongly with consecutive dot deliveries. At the end of Day 4, Australia are 449/7 in response to Pakistan’s 476, as the match seems all set to end as a draw.
Interestingly, this is not the first instance of Azam rolling his arm over. The Pakistani batter has also picked up a wicket in Test cricket, as he dismissed Bangladesh’s Mehidy Hasan Miraz back in December of last year.

Like Azam, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has also tried his bowling hand at times in Test cricket. The 33-year-old has bowled 175 deliveries and has conceded 84 runs. However, unlike his Pakistani counterpart, he does not have a Test wicket to boast of.
Interestingly, Virat Kohli has also bowled a few overs in Test cricket and has no wickets in Test. The last time he bowled was against new Zealand in the Christchurch Test in 2020. However, he has recently seen bowling in the T20 World Cup Warm-up match against Australia.
