LSG vs MI Eliminator: IPL 2023: The Indian Premier League 2023 season is coming to its business end. The league matches have concluded, and the top four teams will face off in exciting Playoffs to book a place in the final. The Lucknow team’s preparations for the game are in full swing. However, their young batter Ayush Badoni took a painful blow while mimicking Suryakumar Yadav’s signature scoopy shot ahead of the eliminator.

During net practice, Ayush intended to play a shot behind the stump but ended up playing it without seeing the ball. The ball hit him just below the abdominal part, and the batter fell immediately to the ground while groaning in pain.

However, the LSG social media handle took the incident in a fun way and sarcastically apologised to the young batter for sharing the video.

“Sorry Ayush, we just had to”, LSG captioned the video.

Despite the absence of regular captain KL Rahul, the Lucknow team has performed exceptionally well under the captaincy of Krunal Pandya and secured a place in the playoffs. It will be a must-win match for the Lucknow side as a loss here will end their IPL 2023 campaign.
