Twitch’s TV show has been seen gathering pace by the end of 2021, with popular streamer xQc leading the meta. Other well-known streamers such as HasanAbi, Disguised Toast were also watching TV shows and broadcasting them live. Cooking shows like MasterChef and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmare were quite popular among streamers. However, streamers could sense the risky nature of reaction streams after the 48 hours ban of prominent star Pokimane from the purple platform. Nevertheless, many like xQc stuck to it, slamming those who spoke against TV meta.

Well, streamer NICKMERCS elaborated his wish to stick with gaming contents like Fortnite, Apex Legends. Despite the demands of his fans he wasn’t ready to walk that terrain as he pointed out the dangers of streaming copyright contents. “Nah, everything is DMCA these days,” the streamer said. “I literally just sit here all day and play video games.”

“(In the past), I had two strikes, so I was playing everything super carefully. That’s my life now. Those strikes are gone, I’m free, but I still don’t want to risk it” he admitted. “What if I got strikes. It would be crazy. I would literally f**king cry, getting banned, for months,” he concluded, before adding, “Imagine the comeback stream though!”
