Tfue seems to be supportive of NICKMERCS and FaZe clan, saying that their invitation was well deserved. However, his reason for the same is slgihtly different from other fans.
Tfue addressed the NICKMERCS Apex Legends tournament invite issue in a recent livestream
During a recent livestream, Tfue shared his take on one of the hottest debates in the gaming community as of now: the NICKMERCS Apex Legends invite issue. Tfue seemed to be in support of NICKMERCS in this regard, saying that Apex Legends inviting NICKMERCS and FaZe clan was not something to be shocked about, since Apex Legends is a rather commercial title.
“If I own Fortnite or Apex Legends, I’m inviting every big streamer to play in my events, dude. No matter how much money is on the line or what bro. It’s a f**king Battle Royale, dude.”

According to Tfue, a Battle Royale title was usually played on the big scale to attract more and more audience. He believes Battle Royales are more light-hearted and commercial, so it made sense to invite big streamers like NICKMERCS to play the title. Naturally, this is because streamers like him would attract a huge crowd, making the event a success.
He added that if players wanted to watch real competitive esports, they should follow other titles like VALORANT.
“If you want to play a real competitive game, go play Valorant.”
So far, the community has been very divided in its opinion about the FaZe Clan invite to the Apex Legends tournament. However, NICKMERCS has shared his thoughts about the ongoing debate as well.
