Agent Neon, Valorant’s newest character, has sparked a lot of interest among the game’s players. The lightning-quick Duelist is noted for her ability to leap into action and use her ultimate to electrify opponents. Michael Grzesiek, often known as Shroud, is a Twitch streamer and one of the top first-person shooter players in the world. He’s a former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player who’s played for big teams like Cloud 9. Michael’shroud’ Grzesiek recently added to the conversation, claiming that Neon lacks the necessary qualities to be competitively viable. Her hyper-aggressive kit and lack of utility are mostly to blame.
Of course, just because an Agent has a high pick rate, it doesn’t mean they’re competitively viable. In fact, shroud believes that Neon is far from being meta. “F**king trash character. She can be fun though, sliding in and sh*t. I just don’t see her fitting into any professional meta.”

Shroud Always Doubted Agent Neon Place in Professional Meta but Fun to Play
However, he was always clear on his instance since the beginning when Agent Neon first hit the valorant through PBE. When it came to Neon, Shroud expressed his admiration for the agent and expressed his belief that the character will be enjoyable to play. “Oh my god!!” he exclaimed. “This character is going to be completely insane.” “I don’t believe the character is going to be ridiculous in the meta or anything,” he continued, “but it’s going to be a lot of fun to play and probably a lot of fun to play against.”
Because it is so fast, Shroud found it annoying to play against. “Will it be played in competitive matches and sh*t?” the twitch streamer said, raising doubts about the agent’s usage in competitive play. Most likely not. “But who knows, maybe?” says the narrator.
