Sentinels came to the tournament with a strong roster consisting of big names like Zellsis, Shroud, and Tenz. However, due to a lack of coordination within the team, Sentinels lost the game against The Guard. Much to their fans’ relief, the team seemed to be a lot more in sync in the match against Shopify Rebellion, and swept a clean win.
NA VALORANT LCQ: Shroud and Sentinels achieve much needed VICTORY against Shopify Rebellion
Sentinels chose Breeze as their map of choice for the match against Shopify Rebellion. While the Vipers from both teams, Shroud and Moose, showed exceptional performance, Sentinels displayed much better coordination in this match as compared to the one against The Guard. The team swept a clean 13-8 win against Shopify Rebellion, as Shroud led his team to victory in the first round.

In the second round, however, Shopify started to show some resilience, and managed to claw their way back to a 12-8 score. However, Shroud and Sentinels doubled down on their effort, and in the end, Zellsis spearheaded the team towards a clean 2-0 victory in the game.
Speaking about the game in a post match interview, Shroud mentioned how the team was a lot more confident about itself today than it was in the match against The Guard.
“The second today started, I was feeling good. Once you have that one really good round, you know the rest of the series is going to be great.”
After having defeated Shopify Rebellion, Sentinels will continue their fight in the NA VCT LCQ, and is set to go head to head against the loser of the FaZe clan vs. 100 Thieves match next.
