Mumbai Indians: MI keen to make Emirates and Cape Town as successful as Mumbai Indians
- MI, who purchased the IPL team in 2008 is one of the most successful and established teams in the history of IPL.
- They have won five titles with a win percentage of 58.5. MI also have one of the best scouting teams across IPL franchises.
- They have given players like Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Krunal Pandya, who have gone to play for India.
- With two new teams in CSA T20 League and UAE T20, MI would be hoping to make it an equally successful one.
CSA T20 League: South Africa announce 30 marquee players signing for the new T20 league
The six IPL franchises who have brought all the teams in the CSA T20 league will now get to sign the world’s best marquee players. As many as 30 foreign players have already signed by the league. The six franchises will have a squad of 17 players and will be able to sign up to five players made up of three international players.
“This is an important milestone for the League,” League Commissioner, Graeme Smith commented. “Having world-class South African players playing with some of the best cricketers around the world makes for some outstanding cricket. I’m mostly excited for the young and upcoming talent in our cricket pipeline. They will get to rub shoulders with some experienced and talented players which will no doubt inspire and help them to raise their own game.
