Australia miles ahead of others in most wins on ODI World Cup list

To no one’s shock, the most successful team in ODI World Cup history, Australia, is on top with 75 wins.

Having won five titles, the Kangaroos are the only team to play over 100 matches and have the best win percentage of any team that has played the tournament (73.52).

India (61 wins)

The second-most successful team after Australia in the ODI World Cup is India.

Having won two titles, India has one more win than New Zealand and is behind just Australia when it comes to winning percentage (66.30).

The only team on the list to have never won an ODI World Cup title is New Zealand.

The Kiwis have played every edition of the tournament and hence find themselves with a win percentage of little under 60.

England (49 wins)

Despite hosting the tournament four times, England has won it just once.

The creators of the game have the lowest win percentage of teams (54.44).

Pakistan (49 wins)

Having won the fifth edition of the tournament in 1992, Pakistan has same amount of wins as England.

With 49 wins, Pakistan is behind India and New Zealand (12 and 9 more wins) but can overtake England.
