During the India’s opening T20I match against South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram, SKY went pass Mohammed Rizwan to create new SIXES Record for 2022. He was level with Pakistan’s opener with 42 sixes and exceeded the mark when he hit a six in the second ball that he faced during his 21st innings this year. Most T20I Sixes 2022: Yadav has already increased his 2022 total of sixes to 45, a record in all T20 Internationals. In comparison to Rizwan, who needed 26 innings to hit 42 sixes, Suryakumar surpassed the record with five times less at bat.

Suryakumar also passed Shikhar Dhawan’s cumulative total of 689 runs from 2018 to become India’s top T20I run-scorer in a calendar year. This year alone, the batter has scored 732 runs in 21 innings.
After a sluggish start, Yadav changed the flow of the Indian innings when he came in at No. 4 with India down to 17/2 in the seventh over. Yadav blasted two sixes off his first three balls. He remained unbeaten at 50 off 33 balls As India reached the target with 20 balls to spare.
