Virat Kohli has taken the T20 World Cup by storm slamming three half-centuries in the Super 12 stage to help India reach the semi-finals. The 34-year-old has been one of the pillars of the Indian batting lineup, helping the Men in Blue rise over the 2021 ashes.
Virat Kohli has aggregated 246 runs so far this edition, the most by a player in this edition. He recently went past Mahela Jayawardene for the most runs in the history of the tournament. Kohli incidentally has the most runs in a single edition of the tournament, having scored 319 in the 2014 edition.

The Indian superstar could go past that mark should he manage 74 more runs to breach the milestone. India will look to Kohli to deal with the threat of the English attack in Adelaide, a ground which he favours. In two T20I innings at the venue, the 34-year-old scored 90* and 68*, with the latter coming against Bangladesh last week.
