Moments before the end of the first half, Kane found the back of the net with a powerful header, giving Spurs the lead with a score of 1-0. Despite having a disappointing season, Kane’s exceptional performance this season has been a bright spot for the team. He has scored 26 goals in 35 Premier League appearances for the Spurs.

Kane’s goal against Crystal Palace was also his 10th header of the season, setting a new Premier League record for the most headed goals in a single campaign.

After a lackluster first half, Kane stepped up to make the difference, scoring a header courtesy of a brilliant cross from Porro. The win keeps Spurs in the hunt for a place in the Europa League.

Despite the best efforts of Argentine defender Cristian Romero, Spurs struggled to find spaces against a well-organised Palace side. With no wins in their last four games, the team lacked confidence in open play.

On the other hand, Palace came into the game in positive spirits and will be disappointed not to have capitalised on a strong start to the second half. Wilfried Zaha and Ebe Eze both had chances to score, but failed to hit the target, leaving the team frustrated in the closing stages.

While Kane’s individual achievements continue to mount up, it is clear that Spurs need to improve as a team if they are to challenge for European football next season. With just three games left to play, manager Ryan Mason will be hoping that his players can find their form and end the season on a high.

Tottenham’s victory against Crystal Palace lifted them to sixth position in the Premier League table, boosting their hopes of qualifying for European competition next season. If Spurs can maintain their recent form, they could still salvage something from a difficult season.
