Miami GP FP3: The FP3 session gets concluded as Sergio Perez sets the fastest lap and he is followed by Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen in the second and third positions. Follow Formula 1 and Miami GP Live Updates on InsideSport.IN.

The Miami Grand Prix is making its debut for the very first time and will be the second race in the United States after Austin Grand Prix. The track is built around the car park of the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

It was Red Bull’s Sergio Perez who topped the timesheet in the FP3 session and he was followed by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen in the second and third positions. Surprisingly it was Alpine’s Fernando Alonso who took fourth place in the standings. The veteran Sebastian Vettel had to settle for a fifth-place finish.

Mick Schumacher had a good day in the office after he claimed a sixth-place finish and was followed by Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz in the seventh spot. Haas’ Kevin Magnussen also had a great day in the office as he claimed eighth place in the standings. He was followed by Alex Albon in ninth and Lando Norris in the tenth position.

AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda had to settle for an eleventh place finish as he was followed by Lance Stroll in the twelfth spot. McLaren’s Daniel Ricciardo had to settle for a thirteenth place finish as he was followed by Valtteri Bottas in the fourteenth spot. Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton took the fifteenth place, but it looks like his confidence is coming back.

AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly took the sixteenth position as he was followed by George Russell in the seventeenth position. Russell led the FP2 session and this would have been a disappointment for him.

The rookie driver for Alfa Romeo, Guanyu Zhou settled for an eighteenth place finish as he was followed by Nicholas Latifi, who greatly had no crash and finished in the nineteenth spot. Last but not the least, it was Esteban Ocon who finished in the twentieth spot as he crashed in the FP3 session.
