Messi returned to training at the Parc des Princes, his Paris Saint-Germain teammates and support personnel presented him with a guard of honour. Messi also received a gold-plated award from a PSG official to commemorate his World Cup victory, and the Argentine then posed with the trophy. As Messi rejoins the Parisian team for training, he will give his final approval to a deal that has already been discussed with PSG’s officials. The best player from the 2022 World Cup will be remaining at PSG, and this will be announced if nothing changes this week.
Lionel Messi however is determined to continue his stint at the French capital. He has agreed to a verbal pact with PSG. Other essential parts of the deal such as the duration of the contract and other details are currently under discussion by both parties.
There is however, no rush with Messi and PSG to discuss the deal at the earliest. Both sides are relaxed about the deal and most likely in all certainty, Messi will continue with PSG.
