During his post-match comments, Kylian Mbappe “We have to look at the end of the game, we were disadvantaged but we managed to cause them issues. We’re going over there [Munich] to qualify. We worked day and night. Our players have to be in good health for the return leg, everyone needs to eat and sleep well. They’re not comfortable when we play attacking football.”
The latest comments by Mbappe’s comment come against the backdrop of the former Barcelona striker’s upsetting his neighbors with his night-time activities. According to Le Parisien’s report, the Brazilian has angered local residents near his Bougival home with a series of alleged parties. Local mayor Luc Wattelle has said Neymar’s parties are “prodigiously annoying” for the local community.

Mbappe vs Neymar: History of Mbappe’s feud with Neymar
This is not the first instance when Mbappe and Neymar have been involved in a feud. The war of words between the two started over the order of penalty takers. The feud took place just a few months after Mbappe signed a bumper new deal to extend his stay in Paris. Following the incident, both strikers were given a dressing down by sporting director Luis Campos.
The incident happened during Ligue 1 clash between PSG and Montpellier on August 13, 2022. When PSG was awarded a spot-kick a couple of minutes before the interval, Neymar decided to take the spot-kick after Mbappe’s earlier miss. Despite his earlier miss, the French forward was visibly annoyed at being removed from penalty duty and went as far as airing his grievances in Neymar’s ear before the Brazilian waved him away and duly found the back of the net.

PSG’s form in 2023
Following the World Cup, PSG has suffered a dip in form on the domestic front. Les Parisiens have lost three of their eight games which include elimination from the Coupe de France at the hands of Marseille. The Ligue 1 leaders had lost to Monaco in their previous domestic match. Speaking of Champions League form, Christophe Galtier’s team remained unbeaten through the entire group stage but were pipped to the top spot by Benfica on the away goals. With a mountain to climb in the second leg PSG stars will have to up their antics or face the humiliation of an early exit from the tournament.
