Eriksen spent the second half of last season on a short-term contract at Brentford and turned down the chance to rejoin the Bees in favour of linking up with Erik ten Hag’s side.
The Danish international famously suffered a cardiac arrest when playing for his country at Euro 2020 and was forced to cut short his contract with Inter as a result.
Prior to that he spent seven years in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur, for whom he made 305 appearances, scoring 69 goals.
In total, the midfielder has 52 goals and 71 assists in 237 games in the Premier League.
He now becomes the second new arrival of the summer at Old Trafford and will bring some much-needed extra creativity to United’s attack.
