Manchester United SUBMITS verbal €50 million offer for Rasmus Hojlund

Manchester United have submitted a verbal offer for their number 1 summer target, Rasmus Hojlund

Manchester United have increased their pursuit to find a new striker for the season. Reports in England claim that the Red Devils have made a verbal offer of €50 million excluding add-ons of €10 million to Atalanta for the signing of Rasmus Hojlund. While the Italian club wants a greater valuation for their striker, it is believed that the two parties will come to a negotiation.

It is no surprise that Manchester United is in dire need of an out-an-out striker and has identified Danish forward as their go-to forward for the upcoming season. The 20-year-old striker is also keen on a move to Manchester Reds. In the meantime, the Premier League giants and the player have already agreed personal terms.

The difference in the valuation of the player has been the only obstacle for both concerned clubs and it is expected to be met in the coming days. Though Hojlund is identified by Erik Ten Hag as his main striker target, there are also other options ready should the deal fall through. These include the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Randal Kolo Muani.

The deal for Rasmus Hojlund is not simple. The player has already made it clear that he wants the move to the Premier League, but French giants Paris Saint Germain have enquired about the player and have offered a greater wage as compared to Manchester United.

But the player is adamant and is focused to play in the Premier League. Now all that remains is for both clubs to decide on the transfer fee to make the deal go through. Previously Atalanda refused Manchester United’s offer to include player swaps. The Italian giants want only money from the player sell.

Hojlund joined Ataland back in last summer and made a good impact on his team. He managed to score 8 goals and register 2 assists in 31 Seria A matches.
