Their Premier League stats too are not worth speaking about. The Red Devils have won just half of their home fixtures and have conceded the same amount of goals as that Watford who are 19th on the league and are on the verge of being eliminated.
With the patience of the fans running thin a protest has been organized which is scheduled to take place today ahead of the Manchester United vs Norwich fixture. The protest has been called by an anonymous group that goes by the name of ‘The 1958’.
Repeated poor results have broken the patience of the die-hard Manchester United supports which has prompted these fans to re-launch their protests as they did the previous year. The Protests have been directed toward the Glazers family, the owners of Manchester United.
The Glazers have been unpopular among the fans since they bought the club way back in 2005. Last season, there have been a multitude of protests after the club decided to join the European Super League. The home fixture against Liverpool last season had to be postponed owing to a huge protest by the United fans.
The main agenda of the gathering is to execute a peaceful protest at Tollgate pub to Old Trafford. The duration of the protest is scheduled to be of 17 Minutes. Ironically this 17 minutes protest marks the rein of the Glazers family who has been the owner of the club for the last 17 years. The protest will last for 17 minutes after the commencement of the game.

Yesterday ahead of Manchester United’s practice session at the Carrington Training Complex a small group of protesters executed their protest. Police were present at the scene and they described the event to be “small and peaceful”.
