And it is still believed that Solskjaer will still remain in charge of the Red Devils.

Solskjaer who has been under pressure since the 5-0 beating from Liverpool finds himself under pressure once again. Although his team has always managed to turn it around when put under similar circumstances, but will Solskjaer run out of time eventually at Manchester United?

Gary Neville tweeted: “The situation at United is made more complicated with Ed (Woodward) leaving in weeks. He gave OGS a 3-year contract months ago and he won’t want his final act to be sacking a manager. However, he [Woodward] knows an incoming CEO could throw him overboard by doing just that [sacking Solskjaer] and blaming him!”
Woodward announced that he would be leaving Man United at the end of this year, during the European Super League scandal back in April. The Red Devils then handed Solskjaer a new three-year contract in July.

Solskjaer got marquee signings – The club’s owners, the Glazer family, still want Solskjaer to succeed. They have backed Ole by signing big names this season in Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho & Raphael Varane but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still can’t find the right formation and tactics to be a title-challenging team.

I think the club will put Saturday down to Pep Guardiola, Manchester City, and believe that this could happen to any team in any season.”

The Red Devils are currently 9 points behind league leaders Chelsea. Manchester United’s next Premier League fixture is a trip to Vicarage Road where they will face 17th placed Watford on 20th November. Ole is expected to be in charge of the Red Devils for the Watford game despite the heavy defeats in the last couple of games.
