This week, when a US animal charity posted a video on Tik tok showing the rescue of Pearl and the condition she was in-her ears torn to pieces and afflicted with a “possibly life-threatening infection”-animal lovers were incensed.
Pearl was brought to the farm in a cage by rescuers, who were shown tending to her and warning that she had had “such much anguish that we can’t begin to conceive.”
The charity stated in the caption for the video that Pearl was discovered alone herself in a field near to a dead pig. She arrived to us with frayed ears and a uterine infection that was potentially fatal but has already been treated.
