Liverpool quickly put their 4-0 loss to Manchester United to bed as Jordan Henderson got his side off the mark early on in Singapore.
The skipper found himself in space from a tidy pull-back from Harvey Elliott and netted with an excellent finish into the roof of the net.
Crystal Palace were looking to play on the counter, but Liverpool had most of the play and the chances, with Roberto Firminho having appealed for a handball inside the area and Elliott missing a chance to make it 2-0 in the first half.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain went off with a problem just before half-time and was replaced by 20-year-old Leighton Clarkson.

Klopp changed the entire side at half-time and it only took seconds after Mohamed Salah’s introduction for the Egyptian to find the back of the net as he cut in from the right and curled a deflected shot past ‘keeper Vicente Guaita, who should’ve done much better.
New signing Fábio Carvalho put in an excellent performance in the second half and went close to scoring when he forced a decent save from Guaita.
Klopp brought on a raft of youngsters with ten minutes to go, with only Carvalho and Salah remaining on the field from the outfield players that came on at half-time. Palace enjoyed more possession in the second half, but it was a case of back to business as usual for Liverpool.
