Barcelona is reportedly putting up a tribute game with a 2024 date in mind, an event that was postponed following the Argentine’s contentious exit in June 2021 when he joined PSG. There were also talks that Leo could return to FC Barcelona in the summer transfer window. His two-year contract is due to end this summer and he has not yet signed an extension. Although, his father, Jorge Messi was quick to squash rumors and said that it is unlikely that Messi returns to Barcelona.

It will be fascinating to see if Leo does decide to come back to Barcelona in a One Last Dance move. Although he could extend his PSG contract or decide to move to Inter Miami in the USA.
